Brazil plans to enhance trade ties with China
BRASILIA, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Brazil has taken its trade with China as a brochure printing priority and will push for its further growth in the coming years, said a Brazilian trade official here Monday.
Brazil was planning to enhance its trade and investment relations with China, Welber Barral, secretary of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, said in an interview with Xinhua.
He said the second meeting of Brazil-China High Level Coordination and Cooperation Commission (Cosban) would be held in March in Brazil.
"At the meeting, the work plan to increase trade relations, trade missions and investments between Brazil and China will be reviewed," he said.
The Cosban, established in May 2004, is an intergovernmental dialogue, coordination and cooperation mechanism of the highest level between the two countries.
